Spring is Finally Here!

The students are never as thrilled to come to Religious School as when it’s time to go to ‘Sev’!  That is after every eight sessions, when Rabbi Goodman takes the Juniors and Seniors to Seven Eleven for a treat after they finish a chapter in their textbooks. The Havdalah ceremony takes place at the end of every Sunday service. The Passover Model Seder was held in the Social Hall on March 25.  Many thanks to Margie Edelman, Cheryl Minsky, Cantor Lavranchuk, Rabbi Goodman, Mr. Korn, Mr. Shapiro, Ms. Isopo and Arianna Isopo for helping to run the Seder, serve food set up and clean up. Thanks to all the families who donated ritual and traditional foods for the Seder. How is the parsley? They students are leaning as part of the service. Blood,. Frogs. Hail. Locusts...... Darkness. Purim Fun

These were some very professional and delicious hamentashen made by Sisterhood members and friends.  These children always dress up in great costumes! The Purim Pizza Party, Purim shpeil, Megillah reading, and dessert and raffles combined to make a wonderful, silly, loud celebration! Rabbi Goodman, in traditional Cow costume, was assisted by some friendly farmers. President Debby Rood Goldman and First Man, Steve Rood Goldman.  The First man had a pizza on his head. What a cute little Harry Potter! You can see some of the many beautiful raffle baskets put together by the Sisterhood. These are some dressed up brothers!
